Welcome to Saint Barnabas Episcopal Church
Who We Are:We are a parish family committed to helping others in our church, the community and the world through Outreach programs and church services by concentrating on "Doing Everything in Love".
St. Barnabas Episcopal Church Profile:Established in 1884 Saint Barnabas Church draws parishioners from communities located in the Upper Allegheny River Valley. Comprised of many small boroughs and townships, the Valley has a population of approximately 53,000. Located in the Northeastern corner of Allegheny County along the Allegheny River, about twenty-two miles from Pittsburgh, the area is industrialized. In general, the population is descended from many European nationalities who settled here to work in the steel, glass, and aluminum industries. Technology and Service Industries have emerged in the last ten years. Twenty-five priests have served St. Barnabas since 1888.
